Our Program: Structured Support for Lasting Recovery
At Serenity Sober Living, we provide more than just a sober place to stay—we offer a structured, compassionate environment designed to help residents build strong foundations for long-term sobriety. We're currently raising funds and building partnerhips to acquire and launch our Abuquerque residence(s) We seek to create a family-like atmosphere where accountability meets encouragement, helping men and women transition successfully from treatment into independent, fulfilling lives.
Residents pay $600 per month (includes utilities and basic shared supplies), and we maintain clear, consistent rules to promote safety, respect, and personal growth.
What Makes Our Program Special
Required Recovery Meeting Attendance — Residents attend at least 3–5 recovery meetings per week (AA, NA, Celebrate Recovery, or similar), supporting consistent connection to the recovery community.
Bible Study & Spiritual Support (Optional but Encouraged) — Weekly optional Bible study groups provide faith-based encouragement for those who find strength in spirituality, aligned with many 12-step principles.
Work/Life Balance Guidance — We help residents find or maintain employment, set healthy routines, manage schedules, and pursue education or vocational goals—because rebuilding life includes thriving in work and daily responsibilities.
Social Services & Resource Navigation — Staff and peers guide residents toward local Albuquerque resources: job placement, healthcare, mental health counseling, food assistance, transportation, and more—connecting you to what you need to stabilize and succeed.
Peer Accountability & Community — Living with others in recovery fosters mutual support, shared chores, house meetings, and genuine friendships built on understanding.
Drug & Alcohol Testing — Random and reasonable-cause testing ensures a safe, sober environment for everyone.
Daily Structure — Reasonable curfew (typically 10–11 PM weekdays, later on weekends), assigned chores, and quiet hours promote responsibility and respect.
Our homes are open to adults (18+) who are committed to sobriety, have completed or are transitioning from a treatment program, and are willing to follow house guidelines. We welcome referrals from local treatment centers, counselors, and 12-step sponsors.
